New Day Planning aims to help manufacturers, communities and economic development organizations optimize their growth and investment strategies. Through a comprehensive review of incentive options and location analysis, manufacturers are better equipped when prioritizing their capital expenditures. By digging into what opportunities are best-suited for a community or region, we can help craft a proactive action-oriented economic development plan to attract corporate investment. We layer on this the development of creative marketing, events, and learning experiences to bring these plans to life.
After participating in hundreds of projects that involved economic development processes, strategy development, community development, business & investment attraction, talent attraction, event planning, location marketing and promotion, and the development of teams and people around these efforts, one thing resonates....
The most successful outcomes involved curious, passionate, solutions-oriented professionals that ask the right questions, accept challenges, push for excellence, provide outstanding customer service, apply a blend of creativity and analytics, and work with a collaborative spirit to realize a team "win". It is our commitment to provide this type of service and mindset to our clients, every time and on every single project.
Why the Jeep?
The OG of pick-up trucks in the US (yes, Ford, Chevy, then Dodge were followers). It was modeled on the base of what was already established as the most renowned off-road vehicle, the CJ-5. (Google the Willys FC-150 history, it’s pretty fascinating.)
While it’s old and may never see a road or trail again, it revolutionized how things got done by improving on a proven concept and customizing it to serve the needs of a new audience.
And it has a bird’s nest on the top of the driver’s seat.
Old + New = Cool.

Why the sun?
Many beautiful sunrises and sunsets have been at the heart of our family’s most cherished memories. Whether it be the end of long, fun-filled days on the water; enjoying early morning walks or quiet coffee moments; or, toasting to the final stop of a road trip or completed round of golf - the sun at the bottom of the horizon brings a sense of reflection, opportunity, and gratitude.
This particular picture that inspired the New Day logo encapsulates the essence of enjoying and celebrating the most beautiful aspects of life: family, friendships, fun, and a spirit of adventure. It serves as the core motivation and focus of New Day and embodies what I strive to bring to my clients and partners: identifying their most important needs or desired outcomes; crafting achievable and effective plans and strategies to make it happen while enjoying a collaborative and, dare I say, fun process; then celebrating the successful team effort together (cannonballing off the dock at sunset).
